Lanka Software Foundation, chaired by Dr. Sanjiva Weerawarana (founder of WSO2) was established in 2003 with the vision of positioning Sri Lanka as a global Free and Open Source (FOSS) research & development hub. LSF partners with public and private organizations across sectors - from education and elections to transport and the environment, to build technology that creates impact and solves local as well as globally relevant challenges.
