Synovize is seeking a remote Information Systems Administrator. As a pivotal member of our small, dynamic team, we value individuals who are independent and possess a keen willingness to embrace new challenges. Experience is flexible, but you need to have a strong foundational knowledge of computer systems. We have multiple independent systems and need someone that enjoys being involved in all aspects of Information Technology and learning new things.

The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of information technology, spanning Linux, Windows, Microsoft 365/Azure, Cloud computing, and Cyber Security.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Install/Maintain/monitor hardware, operating systems, and software locally and in the cloud
• Manage user accounts
• Manage Intune device policies
• Audit systems for compliance/security issues
• Manage security policies in Azure and respond to security alerts
• Manage and maintain artifacts for standards compliance
• Assisting with keeping policies and documentation updated
• Provide support to end-users as needed

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (STEM)
• 2+ years’ experience with Linux, Windows, and Windows Server
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Scripting experience as it relates to system administration in Bash, Python, or PowerShell
• Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one

• RedHat Enterprise Linux or compatible distro
• Standards compliance for IT systems (ex. NISPOM and NIST 800-53/800-171 requirements, STIGs)
• Office 365
• GitLab CI/CD
• Networking concepts
• RMF experience
• eMASS experience
• Active Secret clearance
