Job Description

  • Leads a digital skilled team dedicated to support the technical delivery of the company's online digital channels strategy complying with defined SLAs.
  • Working closely with digital business leaders to understand their plans and advices best way to fulfil it technically through procurement or existing IT capabilities.
  • Acts as platforms owner ensuring managed platforms are delivering as planned by oversees the platform lifecycle end-to-end from delivery TTM & Quality, operationally, performance and availability.
  • Budget planning and execution for platforms, services, tools and consultancy needed for his/her domain.
  • Defining technology sourcing strategies for managed domain aligned to commercial business units needs.
  • Building application technology strategy for the company's digital channels, working with business and IT teams to design the required solutions, owning applications improvements plan to ensure delivered products and services in the right quality, faster TTM and extendibility.
  • Working with vendors in evaluating technical proposals and acceptance of vendor deliverables.
  • Building Platforms strategy, vision and improvements plan for existing digital channels using agreed technology and aligned with business strategy.
  • Identifies and implements best practices for OMNI channels architecture supporting digital operator vision.
  • Budget planning and execution for platforms, tools, services and staffing Section People Management in terms of: resources planning and utilization. provides ongoing coaching and mentoring to digital team staff.
  • Responsible for executing performance Management:

-Yearly Objectives Setting based on the company's & the IT's strategic goals.

-Mid & End of Year appraisals.

-Development & Training planning & Execution people Engagement programs planning & execution Talent Recruitment.

  • Review operational daily implementation work of the teams for digital channels development, Ensuring that architecture, designed guidelines and best practices are in place and aligned with the company's SLA’s and quality standards.
  • Design and architect for the new and existing platforms and projects, building reusable components to ensure compliancy with team guidelines and faster TTM.
  • Drafting RFP technical scope, evaluating technical & financial proposals from vendors and the technical acceptance of vendors’ deliverables.
  • Work in modernization plan and fire projects and vendor engagement if needed to handle periodic upgrades.
  • Understand technology trends and the practical application of existing, new and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating models.
  • Collaborate with commercial business units on their roadmap and best way to fulfil it from technical perspective.
  • Work closely with IT vendors to understands their products roadmap and how to be an early adopter for their releases.
  • Draft and present to direct manager and commercial business units, periodic progress reports to identify system platform technical KPI to ensure business sustainability & customer satisfaction, Resources efficiency and utilization, also supports commercial in defining metrics related to managed domain.

Qualifications

  • University Degree in Electrical Engineering / Telecommunication Engineering / Computer Science /Computer Engineering.
  • Excellent command of English language (Reading, Writing & Oral).
  • Minimum 8+ years of Experience in same field.
  • Telecom Background is a plus.
