We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our dynamic team. The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software development processes, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with the product team to understand requirements, design comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Execute the plans to thoroughly test all software releases under your charge, which can include client and server-side products, API platform and server infrastructure.
• Create automated tests for the test cases, and manually test software for which automation is not available yet.
• Report and track defects, prepare test plan reports, sign off on releases.
• Help define, implement, and drive adoption of QA best practices and processes. Proactively help improve processes.
• Support other test areas including performance, load, security.
• Risk identification, take immediate action and notify relevant parties.
• Review clients & users feedback.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of hands-on manual or automation experience with web and mobile applications (Manual & automation both will be an added advantage).
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field from a recognized university.
• Experience in Selenium or other similar automation tools will be an added advantage.
• Familiar with Agile methodology with Scrum framework.
• Understanding about OOP concepts & software development life cycle.
• Ability to work on different databases.
• Experience with test design techniques.
• Ability to write and maintain test cases & review requirements and test cases.
• Strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Performance or security testing experience is an added advantage.
• Ability to work under minimum supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Working Hours: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM | Full-time

Salary: BDT 45,000 - BDT 55,000 (Depending on competencies).
