Digital Talent is hiring a Senior Plant Manager for one of our clients in Egypt ! This role Oversees all daily operations of the factory, from production to manufacturing, to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

Job Description

  • Develops processes aimed at increasing safety, quality, and production capacity of assets.
  • Establishes and monitors budgets for each department, efficiently allocates resources, and utilizes assets fully to achieve optimal results.
  • Develops action plans for subordinate departments, coordinates between them, and reconciles data extracted from each department to ensure full compatibility.
  • Reviews reports prepared on actual implementation and the extent of compliance of different departments with action plans, studies deviations, proposes remedial methods, and escalates them to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for corrective actions.
  • Develops systems and processes for tracking productivity, standards, metrics, and performance goals, and improves them to ensure effective return on assets while reducing unnecessary costs by collecting and analyzing data to identify areas of waste.
  • Establishes a good working relationship with the workforce and manages the development of factory employees.
  • Addresses employee issues or complaints that may affect productivity.
  • Sets and defines monthly assignments for the responsible heads of the subordinate departments, based on which their monthly performance is evaluated, and their efficiency ratio is determined.
  • Monitors the compliance of different departments with the implementation of documented procedures and the use of approved templates, adherence to the modifications made in them, and supervises the correct use of company publications and coordinates between the different departments.
  • Monitors and controls the proper use of company resources such as water and energy, and coordinates between different departments to achieve optimal utilization.
  • Participates in setting policies for job classification, salary and allowances structures, incentive systems, and proposes the basis for determining periodic bonuses.
  • Stays updated with the latest practices and concepts of senior management and works towards their implementation in line with the company’s capabilities.

Job Requirements

  • Education preferred: BSc of Engineering /Industrial Engineering
  • Years of experience: 15-20
  • Excellent English
