We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Benefits Resource Center Representative to join our team. As a Benefits Resource Center Representative, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with their benefits inquiries, offering guidance, and ensuring a positive customer experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others navigate their benefits-related needs. This is a seasonal work-from-home position, so applicants must have their own equipment and a suitable home office setup.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive support to client employees throughout the benefits enrollment process.
- Assess and address employee enrollment needs effectively.
- Investigate and resolve technology-related challenges related to benefit administration.
- Utilize deductive problem-solving skills to analyze and resolve a wide range of issues.
- Manage password resets efficiently.
- Conduct online enrollment sessions over the phone.
- Actively participate in team meetings and global team gatherings.
- Offer assistance in answering inquiries about fundamental employee benefits, including plan coverage details, cost calculations, dependent eligibility, and documentation requirements.
- Thoroughly document all client and employee interactions using the required systems and formats.
- Process enrollments, life status events, and EOI (Evidence of Insurability) submissions accurately.
- Meet designated key performance indicators (KPIs) effectively.
- Adhere to communication procedures, guidelines, and company policies.
- Stay up-to-date with system information, changes, and updates.
- Contribute to identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Assist in the documentation related to clients and departmental activities.

Experience
- Previous call center experience is mandatory for this role.
- At least one (1) year of experience in employee benefits administration technology solutions.
- Minimum of two (2) years of customer service, administrative, or call center experience is essential.

Nice-to-Have:
- HR Technology Proficiency: Previous experience with HR Technology, preferably in benefits administration, or experience gained at a benefits brokerage firm is highly valued.
- Insurance Knowledge: General understanding of insurance terminology, including terms such as deductible, copay, coinsurance, PPO/HMO.
- Ability to type 30 WPM
Contract Details:
- Type: 3-Month Full-Time Seasonal Contract
- Start Date: July 01, 2024.
- Hourly Rate: 500JMD Hourly
- Work Hours: 9AM-6PM Jamaica Time
