About The Role

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, develop reporting solutions, and create visualizations to communicate findings effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Data Visualization adhoc Analysis and self-service :

• Ensure the creation of visually appealing and user-friendly reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that effectively convey insights and enable data-driven decision-making.
• Implement best practices for data visualization and design principles to enhance the clarity and usability of reporting solutions. and oversee the development of standardized report templates, style guides, and documentation to ensure consistency and scalability.
• Facilitate ad hoc data analysis requests from business stakeholders, leveraging advanced analytical techniques and tools.
• Drive the implementation of self-service BI capabilities, enabling business users to access and analyze data independently.
• Promote user training and adoption of self-service BI tools, empowering business users to generate insights and reports on their own.

Business Requirements Analysis:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and translate them into technical requirements. and conduct a thorough analysis of business requirements, data sources, and existing infrastructure to determine the most appropriate reporting solutions.

BI Solutions Development:

• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of reporting solutions, including reports, interactive dashboards, and self-service BI tools.ensureing the utilization of appropriate BI technologies and tools, such as data visualization platforms, SQL databases, ETL processes, and analytical tools.
• Work closely with the technical team to define data models, data transformations, and data integration strategies to support reporting requirements.

The Ideal candidate must have:

• Proficiency in BI tools and technologies such as Tableau, Power BI, Cognos, Business Objects, Qlik, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of telecom data modelling, data warehousing, data governance and ETL processes.
• Experience on SQL databases, data manipulation, and query optimization on huge data environments like data warehouses and Data Lakes.
• Familiarity with data visualization best practices and UI/UX design principles.
• Experience in cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure.
• Experience working in both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies (Scrum and Kanban).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant position.
• Deep understanding of business reporting requirements and the ability to translate them into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with telecom industry-specific reporting needs and metrics.
• Ability to align reporting solutions with business strategies and goals.
• Strong analytical skills to analyse complex business requirements and data sources.
• Proficiency in data analysis techniques and ability to derive actionable insights from data.
• Problem-solving mindset to identify and resolve reporting-related challenges
