Hima is a Bhutan-originated over-the-top media services company that caters to a global audience. It offers subscription-based video on-demand libraries of films, documentaries, TV series and more. Hima is planning its launch in Bhutan in 2021 and looking forward to expanding its market to regional countries in 2022. Built with a robust set of technologies, Hima is a startup coming out of the BETA Park with a set of visionary founders backing the company.

Position Summary

We are looking for an intern who can support the company to execute social media campaigns and manage the digital presence across social platforms under supervision.

General Roles & Responsibilities

1. Using social media marketing tools to create and maintain the company’s brand
2. Working with marketing professionals to develop social media marketing campaigns
3. Interacting with customers and other stakeholders via the company’s social media accounts
4. Analyzing the company’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy and identifying strategic weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements
5. Researching social media trends and informing management of changes that are relevant to the company’s marketing activities
6. Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs under the supervision of the senior social media marketing managers.

Minimum Qualifications

• Diploma in E-commerce
• Industry relationship experience will be an advantage

Work Conditions

Work is generally performed in an office environment. No special coordination beyond that used for normal mobility and handling of everyday objects and materials is needed to perform the job satisfactorily. Frequent walking, standing, lifting, guiding, or carrying of equipment and materials may be required. Working hours may vary and occasional evening or weekend work is required.

What is after the Internship?

An allowance will be paid to the intern during the internship period. Successful completion of the internship may lead to a full time employment with the company.
