A trusted global solutions company, delivering digital business acceleration, enterprise modernization and next generation product engineering services, looking for a dynamic individual to join as Senior Data Architect.

Key Requirements

• Prior experience in handling end to end architecture. (back-end, front-end, DevOps).

• Strong thought leadership in exploring ideas and coming up with interesting solution options.

• Prior experience in dealing with fast faced multi-skilled agile teams.

• Prior experience of working in one of the cloud environments. (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Good familiarity with at least few areas of Analytics, BI (PowerBI/Tableau, DWH (Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery), BigData (EMR, Databricks, Cloudera), AI-ML.

• Strong coding skills in Python & SQL is a must.

• Understanding of DevOps and container / Docker technologies.

• Highly technical with both tactical and strategic capabilities.

• Confident interacting with business peers to understand and identify use case, with a strong ability to articulate solutions and present them to business partners.

• Providing guidance & mentorship to junior team members.

• Willingness to explore new area and master them over a period of time.

• Ability to effectively collaborate with distributed teams. Effective communication & empathy in customer interactions.

• Result driven and team player.

• Experience in individually contributing without supervision.

• Ability to learn new technologies and processes quickly.

Responsibilities

• Leading and guiding a 6 – 8 people cross-functional team (Python, UI, DevOps).

• Understanding and expertly integrating cloud based technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP - in that order).

• Driving pilots, spikes to try out new-age technologies to check out the feasibility of using them.

• Identifying and developing appropriate design patterns to build end to end data platform.

• Working closely with product management to map vision to WBS (work break-down structure).

• Reviewing deliverables from the team to ensure good quality & future readiness.

• Demonstrating ownership of planning and executing with a small team, planning and owning delivery on behalf of the team.

• Exploring new technologies and apply them to provide solutions to interesting business problems.

• Having a good exposure to wide landscape of analytics technologies.

• Strong background or interest in data ingestion, data transformation, DWH, BI technologies. You will take lead in providing strategic direction to an end to end analytic data platform solutions.

• Having a positive attitude and a passion for delivering technical solutions in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Over a period, increasing familiarity with wider analytics landscape (BI, DWH, BigData, AI-ML, Data Governance and so on).

• Demonstrating solutions to prospects and participating in deep technical discussions with customer.
