Leading distilleries company in Sri Lanka.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of monthly financial statements.

• Analyze P & L and advice management on changing scenarios of company profitability.

• Analyze variances and highlight to management, impact on company profitability.

• Profitability analysis on sales channels, product categories and analysis on overhead costs, etc.

• Prepare board presentations and other reports for the monthly meetings.

• Annual budget preparation.

• Cost accounting related areas.

• Coordination of external audit and finalization of annual audited financial statements.

• Assisting and monitoring the Balance Sheet clearance and identify areas for improvement.

• Carry out comprehensive check on general ledger continuously to ensure that accounting is in line with SLASs/SLFRSs and continuous improvements to the account closure process.

Key Requirements

• Fully Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICASL).

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in combined accounting and finance experience, in a similar capacity (Manufacturing industry)

• An MBA will be an added advantage.

• Familiarity with SAP is mandatory.

• Cost accounting experience.
