Whom are we looking for?

We are looking for a backend developer interested in building performant and scalable backend services.

As a Backend Engineer, you will be expected to solve both for scale and complexity.

We have 30+ microservices managed end-to-end by our backend engineers. We do 100+ automated deployments every week and a hackathon every quarter. Since one tool doesn’t fit all, we keep experimenting with new technologies. One such experiment led us to GraphQL for our APIs and we have been using it for over four years now. We believe every team member should be an army

Responsibilities:

• Manage the services End to End. From writing apis to managing the deployment.
• Maintaining code quality and writing test cases.
• Managing version updates and upgrades.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in one or more of the programming languages (Python, Golang, Java). Knowledge of Python is a must.
• Knowledge of Data Structure and Algorithms
• Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL queries.
• Strong analytical skills with a good problem solving attitude.
• Familiarity with RESTful and Graph APIs, Git.
• Comfortable with and curious about working outside of a traditional narrow engineering role.
• Excited to move fast, prioritize, and constantly make critical product decisions.
