Network Systems Engineer - (Onsite/Remote)

Location: Male, Maldives

Engineers will work in-house or be assigned to a project management team working with the hotels and resorts. Engineers must be willing to do some travel domestically when needed. Typically, there might be two-five trips to the resorts per month and the level of travel required will vary from time to time. To be successful in this position, the candidate must demonstrate experience with Cisco & Aruba technologies and proven history of designing, implementing and managing large networks.

Role:

• Provide network engineering consulting services, including assessment, design, and implementation of modern secure networking environments.
• The ability to work with customer hand-in-hand on requirements gathering and design in order to successfully deliver Cisco/Aruba validated solutions.
• Identify and troubleshoot hardware and software technical problems related to LANs/WANs.
• Lead technical discussions to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications such as the creation of SOW and BOM for clients.
• Monitors and controls the performance and status of network resources across multiple enclaves utilizing software and hardware tools.
• Develops and maintains all networking documentation (drawings, configurations, and deployment plans)

Qualifications:

• 3+ years Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco and Aruba products.
• Cisco or Aruba Network Certification (CCNA, ACSA) highly preferred.
• Expert in core networking principles and protocols such as MP-BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VRF, VxLAN, EVPN, QoS, GRE, IP SEC, DNS, MACsec.
• Experience performing wireless site surveys with tools such as Ekahau is a plus.
• Additional industry solutions: Cisco ASA, Fortinet or Palo Alto is a plus.

• Salary: $1,000.00 to $1,500.00 (Based on qualification and experience)
