Leading IT organization is looking for well-rounded Senior Software Engineer/Lead Software Engineer — Test Automation with 1+ years of industry experience in automation testing using Java and Selenium preferably in a fast- paced dynamic environment. The ideal candidate would have a bachelor’s degree in computer science / related field with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with API Automation using Java and UI automation using Selenium
• Solid understanding of Java development environments and QA process
• Experience in automating end to end integration tests covering both UI’s and API’s
• Experience in functional, performance, load, and cross platform / browser testing
• Hands-on experience, minimum 1+ years in automated testing of Java based applications
• Good understanding of SDLC, and Scrum / Agile methodologies
• Testing experience, WSO2 APIM would be added advantage
• Ability to work with Relational Databases: Oracle / MySQL / PostgreSQL
• Detailed knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols
• Strong attention to detail
• Familiar with JIRA, Linux, and Scripting Languages
• Excellent Communication and Presentation skills
• Results Driven and Team player
• Experience in individually contributing without supervision
• Ability to learn new technologies and processes quickly

Responsibilities

• Writing clean, high-quality scripts that test product functionality automatically
• Working with the team to understand all functional and non-functional requirements
• Documenting all test scenarios and keeping them up to date
• Working with other engineers on a collaborative Agile POD to deliver software on an ongoing basis.
• Maintaining all coding best practices
• Performing functional and non- functional testing
• Performance test planning and execution
