Leading Organization looking for Dynamic individual to join as Business Analyst

Designation:Business Analyst

Location:Colombo

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with all departments to understand the business requirements of departments and the organization as a whole
• Validate and document business requirements
• Use data modelling practices to analyses the findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes
• Identify the processes and information technology required to introduce the proposed solutions
• Communicate the benefits of proposed processes across departments and to help address any uncertainty and concern
• Create functional specifications for proposed processes and to present to stakeholders when necessary
• Support staff and teams in making recommended changes, including helping to resolve any issues
• Ensure plans are made and processes are created to evaluate the impact of the changes made, including taking responsibility for overseeing and reporting on this evaluation
• As and when required, when new projects are being assigned, create and maintain project schedules by developing project plans and specifications, estimating time and resources, monitoring milestone completion, tracking all phases of the project lifecycle, providing timely reporting of issues that impact project progress, coordinating actions and resolving conflicts

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science IT/Software Development or a related field
• 2 – 3 years working experience in similar role
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to ask and present to a range of audiences, sometimes acting as a translator between parties
• Creative thinking ability to generate new ideas and approaches to solve problems, develop alternatives & challenge assumptions
• Negotiation through mediating discussions and resolving differences in teams. Conflict Resolution through hearing all viewpoints and achieving a mutually beneficial solution for all parties
