Designation:Manager - Proffessional Development unit

Location:Colombo

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with providing strategic direction and leadership on the creation and marketing of professional development programs to the targeted audience
• Assess current and future requirements to support strategic aims in conjunction with IIT’s senior management
• Continuous improvement and development of the PD programs through engaging in research and learning to enable best design of PD programs
• Project manage the implementation and review of PD programs
• Building strong network with both internal and external academic professionals in order to develop quality courses
• P&L responsibility for the professional development unit

Requirements

• Degree or professional qualification in marketing, a postgraduate qualification is an added advantage
• 5 years’ work experience in the education industry with 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
• Experienced in marketing and brand development in the industry
• Good with monitoring/ evaluating the services of the PDU, ensuring they are up to standard
• Innovative mindset: able to come up with creative solutions and implement new programs
• Has excellent interpersonal skills and a good understanding of customer service
