Designation:Technical Project Manager
Location: Colombo
Duties & Responsibilities
- coordinate internal resources and third parties/ vendors for the successful execution of projects
- ensure that all projects are delivered om-time, within scope and within budget
- developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- analyse, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects
- develop a detailed project plan to track progress
- use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
- measure project performance using appropriate systems,tools and techniques
- manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction
- perform risk management to minimum project risks
- manage systems with complex solution architectures that utilize cloud services including AWS.
- create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- management of requirements, scope, stakeholders,risks and issues, functional and technical documentation, testing activities, implementation activities,deployment and transition activities.
- provide methodology guidance and tailoring for implementation approach
- hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
- provided pro-active,decisive,and hands-on leadership
Requirements
- Degree in software engineering or engineering for technical project managers
- 3-4 years of proven working experience as a project manager of software development projects
- solid technical background, with hands on experience in software development and web technologies
- PMP,CSM or any other accredited project management certification will be an added advantage.
