Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable and efficient Ruby on Rails code
• Design robust, scalable and secure features
• Contribute in all phases of the development life cycle
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Follow best practices (test-driven development, continuous integration, SCRUM, refactoring and code standards)
• Drive continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies into design

Requirements

• Work experience ranges from 3 to 6 years as Ruby on Rails developer.
• Proven work experience as a Ruby on Rails developer
• Proven work experience in software development.
• Experience in Rails Application Templates.
• Experience in API Integration.
• Demonstrable knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS and JQuery.
• Working Knowledge of relational/non-relational databases Like: PostgreSQL, NoSQL, MongoDB etc.
• Experience developing highly interactive applications
• A firm grasp of object-oriented analysis and design
• Passion for writing great, simple, clean, efficient code
