A bit about us
Huh? Where do we start… Let's rewind two years, to 2020! As a consequence of Covid-19, Sync saw the light of day (Formally known as ‘PSYNC’. Yeah, we don't know what we were thinking to be honest).
Successfully operational right off the bat, the team at Sync, the rebellions, were trusted by Sri Lanka’s corporate giants (the ones crazy and bold enough to take daring steps) with their performance marketing with a hint of creativity.
Recently funded by a few entrepreneurial tycoons, Sync has been able to accelerate its growth rates exponentially.
We try to remain silent at times with our awesome work (everyone's got to eat right?) However, it's because we're messing with our clients' brand guidelines, looking for loopholes to advertise them.
We grow through referrals, referrals, and referrals only. Our existing clientele and investors are pretty confident with our competency and capabilities, leading to a referral, that often leads to a great engagement!
Let's talk about the role, shall we?
Our due diligence lets us pick the most colorful, lovable, intoxicating clients. We, of course, weigh in with the ‘daring’ factor. Video Editors of Sync are the cool kids on the block. They get to make art come to life and get the praise of almost everyone on the team. The video editor we are on the lookout for is a person who ‘just gets it’! We mean pop culture references (saw what we did in hindsight?) and someone who creates ‘heaven on earth’ type of videos from the content shot by mind-blowing content creators. If you’re talented behind the camera, say no more, we are willing to pay you more and let you go mad with your skills ( You might have to stick to the script though lol). Working directly under the Head of Motion and Chief Marketing Officer, you’d be summoned for this and that in terms of animations, video editing, and many more.
OH ALSO! If you’re good behind the camera, there are chances of all-expense-paid trips for when there are outstation shooting sites ;)

- You've met with our creative project management team to ensure we're tracking to meet all key project deadlines on our comms calendar.
- You’ve got the chance to play a huge role in creating lots of great content for the Sync website (shameless plug - www.sync.agency)
- You've been noisy on our Google Chat, sharing the latest and greatest creative work from your brand crushes.

Both a doer & a thinker
First and foremost, you have a ‘roll your sleeves’ up mentality and aren’t afraid to wear a few hats in the process.
You *heart emoji* organization and communication
You are responsible for ensuring that the creative and paid media teams are kept up to date, which can be extra challenging in a remote-first environment. High-level organization and great written communication skills are your strong suits.
Master collaborator
You know how to bring a team together to deliver a project, whether that be creative or members of the growth team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the right people are involved at the right stages of a project throughout its delivery milestones.
Calm under pressure (but not afraid to ask for help!)
It can sometimes feel like you’re spinning a lot of plates but you know how to multitask and balance competing priorities and you embrace the fast-paced nature of campaign delivery, but you are also not afraid to raise your hand or push back if things feel crazy or unrealistic. You are able to navigate ambiguity and use kindness and empathy to take a proactive role in driving projects forward.
You give a crap
