Leading Organization looking for dynamic individuals to join as Architect .

Location: Colombo

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Continuously design and enhance the platform architecture in line with the industry’s current needs + future trends in global cloud-native fintech SaaS platforms.
• Create and maintain a technology roadmap. You will be expected to priorities and execute roadmap items with the engineering and delivery teams.
• Present and defend the WealthOS platform architecture and technology roadmap when pitching to external stakeholders - e.g. investors (especially VCs), potential clients and key partners. You will be a key part of any external stakeholder pitch.
• Hire and build the WealthOS Engineering Organization, with a strong focus on establishing engineering best practices, R&D and DevOps culture.
• Mentor and appraise the next level of leadership within the Engineering organization. Get your hands dirty regularly and be in the trenches. We believe in architects who code and test and not just design.

• You have spent ten years or more working in an agile environment, with demonstrable experience in innovation, leading teams, and designing products/solutions of comparable scale and complexity.
• You have a strong understanding and experience in micro services architecture, SaaS concepts, functional & non-functional testing, DevOps, CI/CD, cloud deployments, and infrastructure automation strategies.
• You have proficiency in many of the following: JavaScript/Typescript, NodeJs, Java/C++, AWS PaaS.

It would be a definite plus if you have:

• Experience in designing and building enterprise fintech platforms
• Experience in cloud development on AWS with focus on server less technology and micro- services architecture.
• Experience in some or all of the following: Node.js, React, MongoDB, Redis, Docker, Terraform, APIs (REST, Web Sockets, WebHooks), and AWS technologies, such as Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, IAM, Route53, EC2, S3, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, SES, Cloud Formation, and SAM.
