Key Responsibilities
• Manage retail staff, including cashiers and people working on the floor
• Train and develop employees
• Work towards achieving sales targets by communicating targets bi-hourly to department staff
• Maintain a high level of discipline
• Assist the Store manager to evaluate the job performance of shop assistants
• Ensure merchandise is clean and ready to be displayed
• Maintain inventory and ensure items are in stock as per the responsibilities
• Ensure promotions are accurate and merchandised as per the company's standards
• Ensure standards for quality, customer service, and health and safety are met
• Ensure that the staff attendance is of a high standard
• Focus on the team's ability and knowledge on UP SELLING, CROSS SELLING and effectively increasing basket value
• Maintain store's cleanliness
• Support the manager with relevant report generation
• Organize and communicate staff work schedules/rosters
• Manage day to day deliveries and replenishments
Key Requirements
• Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in a similar role.
