Half Life is a SaaS (software as a service) company building technologies for advertising technology & location data intelligence tools. Half Life is looking for an individual to work in a full time / consultancy role. We are looking for individuals with a keen interest in design thinking and the ability to work using their own initiative to create well designed solutions as part of our latest product development initiative.

Your scope of work will include:

• Creating / helping to create an overall ‘Design Project Brief’ based on the objectives and goals of the project.
• Carrying out design process activities (planning, research, designing & testing and validation) in line with the objectives as agreed with the product owner/s.
• Taking initiative to learn and adapt quickly based on various stages of the design process to ensure customer experience success.
• Designing product features, workflows and interactions.
• Staying current with best practices in the design process and align them as the organization sees fit.

Requirements:

• Prior experience as part of the design team in startups/ product development organizations.
• Open-mindedness and an eagerness to learn and adapt quickly.
• Proficiency in working with visual design software such as Figma.

Prefered qualifications:

• Knowledge of the software development process and exposure to technologies such as HTML, and CSS would be an advantage.
• Prior experience building software for international markets
