Leading IT organization in Sri Lanka looking for a dynamic Individual to jon as a Network & System Administrator

Location : Colombo

Key Responsibilities-

• Determining ICT infrastructure and technical specifications of them in relation to the different job roles employees need to perform.
• Formulating ICT infrastructure budgets and procuring CT equipment in a timely and effective manner.
• Managing network servers, workstations, and technology tools.
• Setting up accounts and workstations using different operating systems such
• as Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Working with AD, DNS, AD group Policies, AD security, and Azure AD capabilities.
• Monitoring performance and maintaining systems according to required standards.
• Ensuring security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
• Timely renewal of software licenses, domain registration etc

Key Requirements-

• 3-4 years’ experience as a Network and System Administrator or similar role and experience
• with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management.
• BSc in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related professional certification.
• Knowledge of system security (eg: Intrusion Detection Systems) and data backup/recovery.
• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms (macOS and Linux) and Office 365.
• Experience in firewall administration, enterprise antivirus, and VPN configurations.
• Exposure to Azure, AWS, and other cloud platforms

Added Advantage-

• Prior exposure to ISO 97001/27001
