Designation: QA Engineer

Location:Colombo

Key Responsibilities

Defin ing test strategies, test planning, designing, and executing tests.

Spotting defects and effectively documenting test results.

Analyse requirements and provide constructive feedback with detailed test estimations.

Prioritise test requirements in the context of business and project risk.

Working in an agile environment.

Represent QA concerns in meetings.

Working alone or as a part of a team of testers when required

Key Requirements

•Degree qualified in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business Information Systems or similar.

• A minimum of 3-4 years' experience.

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and process improvement

• Experience in Test Automation to maintain automation suites using Selenium/Java.

• Experience with API testing

• A high degree of attention to quality.

• Enthusiastic, proactive, and a strong team player.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

• Creative and a good problem solver with a keen eye for detail.

• Excellent interpersona l skills.

• Flexible work style.

Soft Skills

• Good attitude, effective written and verbal communication skills

• Time management capability to handle multiple tasks/ multiple project assignments.

Nice to Have

• General understanding of customized ERP/ PLM systems.

• Testing on multiple platforms

• Worked with Load/Performance testing using tools such as JMeter, Gatling

• ISTQB Foundation Level Qualification

• Experience with SQL and Atlassian products
