Full Stack Web Developer

We are a rapidly expanding designing and manufacturing company based in Katugastota looking for a Web Developer with WordPress to develop websites and setup other back end operations.

Your Role

• To love working at Lavisco
• Serve as an eCommerce Developer on assigned projects
• Brainstorming ideas to present and implement effective and practical solutions
• Researching, testing and integrating 3rd party systems, payment gateways and plugins via APIs/web services
• Work with the design team in shaping an optimal user experience
• Communicate with other departments to provide regular progress updates
• Develop, test, and deploy features, optimizations, bug fixes, custom functionality, and integrations that span both front-end and back-end
• Assist and train fullfilment staff on the backend of the order process.
• Maintain knowledge of current web, ecommerce, and mobile technologies and best practices

Skills We Need:

• Brilliant communication
• Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and web standards
• Have strong skills in PHP and understanding of OO programming techniques
• Have strong skills in SQL and understanding of RDBMS (MySQL)
• Have strong skills in JavaScript and knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js
• Experiencing working with MVC frameworks’ such as Laravel / Symfony
• Experiencing building and working with RESTful API’s and JSON data objects
• Knowledge of front-end build and workflow tools such as Grunt / Webpack / Babel
• Proficient at using version control systems such as Git
• Experience writing PHP and JS unit tests
• Knowledge of PHP doctrine database migrations
• Knowledge of web accessibility and best practices
• Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator skills (Preffered)
