ASSISTANT MANAGER – HUMAN RESOURCES AND ADMINISTRATION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design & implement Human Resource policies in collaboration with the Management.
  • Ability to manage and execute HR key result areas including talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, rewards and recognition, compensation management, performance management and Learning & Development.
  • Design & Development of the organizational structure and roles are supported with clear responsibilities through creation of JD’s for all employees.
  • Strategize and sustain an effective recruitment process to facilitate business requirements with shortest lead time and to ensure a smooth onboarding of newly recruited employees through a comprehensive induction program.
  • Implementation of an integrated Human Capital Management System to deliver total HR solutions through selected key result areas.
  • Development & implementation of performance management process suitable for the organization for all levels of employees and align compensation and benefits to enhance morale and motivation.
  • Development of strategies to build relationship with local & international universities/institutes in order to attract talent to the organization through university drives, engagements and employer branding and brand image with undergraduates.
  • Ensure Training and Development needs of employees are met in a timely manner whilst, constantly monitoring same and to Identify and liaise with appropriate training institutions/colleges and training courses in order to fulfil employee training needs on time and maintain a close liaison with trainers to obtain a good service.
  • Induce a culture and an environment to perform through employee engagement at an effective and optimum level through new norms of work both on site and remote working.
  • Drive change initiatives through collaborative approach in partnership with leaders and employee at all levels across the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS & CRITERIA REQUIRED

  • Dynamic & energetic personality with ‘go-getter attitude’ & ready to deliver results on stretched challenges and targets
  • Minimum of University degree in Human Resources or equivalent qualification or fully completed professional qualification in Human Resources Management and MBA / M.Sc. qualification will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in strategic & operational HR with hands on proven record in working with HRIS & Talent Management systems, Goal Setting & Performance Management, Learning & Development, Employee Engagement at Senior Executive or Assistant Manager level will be a mandatory pre-requisite.
  • Previous experience in a established corporate or conglomerate will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency English & Sinhala languages and ability to work with cross funct
