Brand Development Manager responsibilities
Job Description: The Brand Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for helping with marketing and developing the business. This will include finding more leads and exploring regions and areas to expand to. We are looking for an experienced BDM to join the team here at LCY / LCY London.
Ideal candidate with Responsible for obtaining new leads and keeping relationships with existing clients strong. Must have a confident telephone manner and be happy liaising with new and existing clients and must be fluent in English.
- A BDM with proven experience of selling digital marketing, ecommerce and fashion industry (Experience in fast moving luxury goods is key!)
- Experience in planning approaches and pitches as well as writing compelling new business pitches!
- Evidenced passion for working in the digital marketing industry essential. Good understanding of mens fashion and fast moving luxury goods. Undestanding of UK and US markets.
- Proven record of achieving sales targets.
- Evidence of working in a team environment towards a common goal.
- High attention to detail and able to work in an organised and professional manner.
- Possess an understanding of the consultative sales process.
- Able to work with a degree of autonomy and achieve results.
- Ability to generate leads through networking and attending events, researching, and building prospect lists, reviving old contacts as well as following up on internal leads
- Directing new enquiries to the relevant people and keeping on top on going projects to ensure maximum potential. Coordinating with other departments ensure objectives are finished in a timely manner.
- Be the first point of contact for the directors. Management of various staff to make sure target and objectives are completed.
- Provide monthly reporting to the directors of the business.
- Researching consumer preferences and attitudes about products or services to identify trends and patterns in buying behavior.
- Managing advertising campaigns for brands by developing concepts, selecting media outlets, negotiating rates, and monitoring results
- Monitoring competitors’ activities and responding with appropriate action, such as introducing a new product to compete with a competitor or changing pricing to better compete with a competitor’s offerings
Qualifications for Brand Development Manager
Bachelor's degree in marketing or Strategic Branding
Great problem-solving skills
2 years of experience in a similar capacity
Proficient in the photo and video editing software such as Adobe
Deep knowledge of web design principles
Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel and Word.
Ability to identify long-term trends in data
Great communication skills
Experience working with a content management system
Strong project management skills
