ABBASI is a fashion tech start-up aiming to disrupt the gem and jewellery industry through technology, specifically using NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens). Whilst we let our core fashion tech proposition evolve/ build, we are launching our eCommerce platform to sell gems and jewellery products.

We are currently hiring for a technical recruiter, who will use your technical knowledge to hire candidates to join our IT and e-commerce teams. Use your talent acquisition skills to help us staff bright and talented people who are looking to make an impact in our fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do?

  • Develop recruiting strategies
  • Review job orders and employment applications to match applicants with job requirements
  • Search for job candidates using various sources such as databases, internet recruiting resources, networking, job fairs, LinkedIn, recruiting firms or employee referrals
  • Select job applicants, confirm their qualifications and refer them to us, making recommendations when appropriate
  • Interview job applicants as part of the screening process to get information on their work history, job skills, training and education, and inform them of the position’s duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits and working conditions
  • Analyze employment data related to the position and create reports based on your findings
  • Advise us on implementing, organizing and preparing recruiting programs while providing them with training on interviewing, counselling techniques, performance appraisals or documentation of performance issues
  • Maintaining daily records of sourcing and interview details.
  • Be a Networker: Build and maintain a network of candidates and prospects through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management; understand how to recruit passive candidates and engage for current and future opportunities.

Your outputs will provide findings of potential candidates for our team, especially in terms of e-commerce.

What Do you Require?

  • In terms of experience, we are looking for fresh graduates or even professionals with full/ Part qualifications in Human Resource Management.
  • Extensive Talent Acquisition recruiting experience across the technical field or the e-commerce space is a definite advantage
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels, including senior management
  • A good understanding of technology and technical skills, especially in e-commerce
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills across various channels (email, social media, phone, LinkedIn).
  • Creative problem solver with a track record of implementing innovative techniques to attract and recruit diverse top talent
  • Promotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with attention to detail.

This is a part-time remote job and everything will be handled virtually.
