Senior Graphic Designer Job description

This role will be responsible for creating and resizing branding-related visuals as

per the requirements of the design team. He/she needs to maintain the

quality and consistency levels of all designs and visuals. While developing new designs, it is also required to use your creativity at optimum levels under the brand guidelines.

Senior Graphic Designer responsibilities

• Development of concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations

and branding-related material as per the agreed deadlines

• Coming up with innovative designs.
• Reviewing the existing material and suggesting improvements
• Coordinating with outside parties such as printers and agencies (when required)
• Make sure the final outcome is as per the expectation (during sampling process)
• Arrange and archive artworks for future reference

Other Key Responsibilities

• Understanding the brief and conceptualising accordingly
• Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, packaging trims and accessories, branding, etc.
• Plan concepts/designs by studying information and materials - internal and external
• Determining size and arrangement of copy and illustrative material, as well as font style and size
• Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required
• Ability to do prototypes is a plus.
• Be a team player, always prepared to go the extra mile to accomplish desired results
• Assisting photoshoots when require

Required qualifications and experience

Suitable educational qualification

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Similar filed

Previous work experience in fashion related environments is plus

Knowledge

• Knowledge of brands and designs
• Proficiency in adobe suit ( Including 3D in Illustrator)
• Exposure to photography will be an added advantage
• Knowledge printing methods and laters technology is a plus
• English & Sinhala typing
• Ability to use localities printer machines is an add advantage
• Proficiency in Mac OS is an add advantage
