Duties & Responsibilities Head: Business DevelopmentCape TownPromote and market the Retail business.Refine the retail distribution strategy Work with marketing to agree on strategic events, and engagements Engage clients across all segments Work with the investment team to create efficient client outcomes. Execute strategy for distribution across all segments Ensure a strategy per distribution channel Drive our narrative out to the retail market via the Wealth business development teams and the retail distribution channels Engage with the Head of external Lisps to grow market share Set and achieve distribution targets Driving the message onto social media platforms Push the investment team to engage the market Assess and analyse fund flows Interact and socialise with Planners at events Travel to regions across the country to engage with Planners and Clients Building your own presentations for report backs and pitches
Desired Experience & Qualification Relevant tertiary qualification At least 10 years of experience in the investments industry Broad stakeholder management skills Understanding of market dynamics Marketing Background and Links to Financial Planners (advantageous) Demonstrated track record of delivering outcomes Aligning Performance for Success Business Awareness Decision Making Enterprise Innovation Technical Knowledge Good Presentation Skills
