WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for Ruby on Rails Engineers with 5+ years of experience in the Software Development Industry to join our expanding Global Product Development Team based in London and Colombo. You will be part of a team solving challenges on developing the World's First Online Tutoring Platform which manages Schools, Pupils and Tutors globally.

TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• A broad understanding and experience in working with AWS serverless infrastructure in production, particularly Amazon API Gateway and AWS Step Functions, including AWS Lambda.
• Experience in working with stateless Rails (micro)services in production, including monitoring and maintaining them in a production environment.
• Experience and ability to design and built usable, well-structured REST APIs.
• Experience in scalable distributed architecture using micro-services and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to infrastructure as code (ideally Terraform)

In addition to above requirements hands on experience on evaluating code quality, performance and security. Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills, fair understanding of design patterns and concepts of modular applications will be useful. Prior experience in working in a Global cross-functional team will be an added advantage.
