And in alignment with the quest to upscale, it requires the services of technically sound and commercially astute senior investment banking professional to drive its game changing offerings geared to serve as a one-stop shop for the clients.

Job Objectives

· Identify and provide clients with innovative and financial products that will meet their various unique financial needs

· Lead, develop and maintain strong working relationships with key business decision makers throughout the year to communicate value and inform them of the firm's scope of services.

· Provide guidance/expertise and lead project teams to coordinate valuation engagements for the purpose of: management planning, mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, restructuring and reorganization, and corporate strategy

· Keeping abreast of the laws governing the Capital market as it relates to Corporate Finance mandates.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Careful and detailed analysis of clients’ financials, projections and growth potential in order to position them for the identified capital needs.

· Keeping abreast and informed about the trends in the Corporate Finance business to provide clients with an array of capital raising opportunities.

· Identify and source for Financial Advisory mandates from potential and existing clients.

· Obtain all appropriate regulatory approvals for all types of offer transactions and mandates.

· Ensure proper and accurate preparation, collation and documentation of all mandates and offer transactions.

· Lend specific subject matter knowledge and offer companies professional transaction experience by determining the right deal to do, and assist them doing the right deal.

· Develop new and creative analyses to prove key assertions across multiple work streams.

· Assume a leadership role in report generation and detailed financial modeling.

· Position the Company to identify, attract and build a stable working relationship with clients by providing excellent Financial Advisory services.

· Keeping abreast and informed about the trends in the Corporate Finance business to provide clients with an array of capital raising opportunities.

· Mentor others and stay abreast of current business and economic developments relevant to the client's business.

· Use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of the Valuation services provided.

· Assume a leadership role in report generation and detailed financial modeling.

· Identify/communicate relevant trends, developments, and key performance drivers relevant to the client.

· Coordinates all corporate Finance transactions from inception to execution stage(s).

· Participate in engagement management, engagement execution and reporting, and client relationship building and management.

· Achieve growth by understanding GTL’s service lines and actively assessing/presenting ways to apply knowledge and services.

· Develop long-term relationships and networks both internally and externally.

· Coordinates all Corporate Finance transactions from inception to execution stage(s).

Education Requirement

¨ University degree in a business-related discipline.

¨ Recognized professional financial certification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA).

¨ Minimum of five (5) years cognate working experience.

Key Competencies

Knowledge

· Must have a bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting with demonstrated aptitude in quantitative and qualitative analysis

· Must have 5 years of relevant experience with a venture capital, investment banking, commercial banking, or national valuation firm or experience in the valuation practice of an accounting firm; or 5 years for those with a relevant graduate degree.

Skills/Competencies

· Must have ability to manage project expenditures against budget and revenue and provide the necessary leadership and guidance to team members to ensure the completion of work deliverables.

· Must have proven business development, marketing and negotiating techniques with a demonstrated track record of pursing and closing business opportunities, and the ability to manage engagement risk through reaffirming client satisfaction

· Working experience covering debt re-structuring

· Core understanding of balance sheet structure and corporate analysis

· Diverse sector coverage across a variety of jurisdictions.

· Attention to detail.

· Proficiency in the use of communication technology to deliver information and other basic and advanced business applications etc
