The Job:
We are looking for a Content Writer to play a pivotal role in helping us grow our libraries of cyber awareness content. In this role, you will actively and consistently research, brainstorm, creatively develop and iterate Right-Hand Cybersecurity’s cyber awareness content which includes various training modules, phishing templates, and policy compliance documents. This will be a combination of technical and non-technical content but will require an ability to convert cybersecurity information into a format anyone can understand.
Responsibilities:
As a Content Writer, you will be doing the following:
- Research various cybersecurity attack types and breach headlines
- Brainstorm new and creative ways to educate people on the importance of proper cyber hygiene
- Use simple and creative methods to be a storyteller
- Become a product expert in Right-Hand’s cyber awareness products
- Develop new ways to reduce the learning curve
- Create phishing email templates
- Update existing training modules
- Build new training modules
- Work closely with other team members including leadership, engineers and customer success to make sure the content is well understood by clients
- Apply strong grammar, spelling, punctuation and storytelling to your content at all times
You Bring to the Table:
- 1+ years working in the cybersecurity space
- 1+ years of content writing
- A basic understanding of cybersecurity.
- A team player and someone who holds themselves accountable.
- Proficient time management and prioritization skills; proven abilities in a customer-oriented, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong attention to tactical execution and follow-through.
- Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and drive.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and critical-thinking abilities.
