As a Student Partner, you will act as a representative and advocate for Algorithm Institution, networking with fellow students to promote our project offerings and building connections within the tech community. You will also have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and advance your skills in the latest technologies while being part of a community of like-minded individuals.
Requirements:
- Enrollment in a university: The student should be currently enrolled in a university (senior) and able to commit to the role while they are in school.
- Strong communication skills: The student should have strong written and verbal communication skills, as they will be interacting with a variety of stakeholders, including students, university staff, and company representatives.
- Leadership skills: The student should have strong leadership skills, as they will be responsible for building and managing a community of students.
- Organizational skills: The student should have strong organizational skills, as they will be responsible for planning and executing events and initiatives.
- Passion for the company's mission and products: The student should be excited about the company's mission and products, and have a genuine interest in building a community around them.
- Strong work ethic: The student should have a strong work ethic and be able to work independently, multitask and manage time effectively.
- Ability to represent the company in a professional and positive manner.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and skills.
- A good academic standing: The student should maintain a good academic standing and be able to balance their academic commitments with the responsibilities of the role.
- May require a background check and sign Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
Responsibilities:
- Identifying and recruiting potential members of the community
- Planning and executing events and initiatives that engage and build relationships with the community
- Communicating with the tech company to ensure that the needs and interests of the community are being met
- Acting as a liaison between the company and the university, facilitating partnerships and collaborations
- Providing feedback and insights to the company based on the needs and interests of the community
- Representing the company in a professional and positive manner
- Ability to work independently, multitask and manage time effectively.
