The Role

The ideal candidate will perform work as assigned/ defined by the client contract and has expertise in FI/CO and possesses knowledge in SAP implementation methodology with deployment experience in customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Work on more than one engagement at a time. Manage small engagements or a portion of a large engagement
• Assist in the development and implementation of the project plan for a project. This includes drafting the project plan (scope, deliverables, timelines, and resources), identifying and recruiting team members, and preparing and assisting in the preparation of individual work plans.
• For assigned area, oversees all project activities leading to the implementation of the requirements.
• Demonstrate creativity and thought leadership and use experience in substantiating the proposed solutions to the client.
• Maintain and expands client contact at high levels and builds credible relationships with key client personnel.
• Continually develop SAP core skills and business knowledge based on accumulated experience. Use implementation methodology and tools in the project and acquire additional skills in cross-functional areas and enabling technologies.
• Execute assigned project tasks in areas of demonstrated competence with direction from a Senior Consultant.
• Set appropriate priorities based on the assigned tasks and consistently ensure that work outputs are delivered on time and are of the highest quality.
• Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when required by the management.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in FI/CO modules of SAP (within standard ERP or IS-Retail)
• General understanding of complementary modules of SAP
• Ability to work in teams - interpersonal skills are essential
• Minimum of 8 years prior work experience in a SAP consulting capacity
• Minimum of 5 complete project life cycles in a SAP consulting capacity/experience in every phase of a customer engagement on multiple projects
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, leadership capabilities, conceptual thinking and innovative mindset are essential.
• Be result oriented, with an ability to lead and work in teams - interpersonal skills are essential
• Leadership capabilities, result orientation, conceptual thinking, and innovative mindset
• Ability and willingness to take on new initiatives/technologies
• Excellent influencing and persuasion skills with customers and internal project teams and management
• Strong customer service orientation
• General degree or recognized professional qualifications (CIMA, CIM).
