Job Objectives
· Responsible for originating and managing the relationships with Corporates and High Net worth Individuals in various sector across the country/region.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Originate, maintain, and develop relationships in the corporate market in line with Bank’s risk appetite.
· Responsible for identifying potential new clients and working with them to build up a relationship with the goal of managing their wealth.
· Proactively advise and consult with the clients, explaining the types of financial services available, educating them about investment options and potential risks and recommending investments.
· Manage a corporate loan book within parameters provided by Risk Management / Management Board.
· To expand the current client base and explore new products which are suitable for client needs.
· To promote and market the bank's services ensuring that the highest level of client service is provided at all times.
· Evaluate financial, tax plus credit needs of all customers.
· Ensure conformance with all banking policies and practices along with regulatory statutes.
· Train and guide less experienced Business Development Officers.
· Upgrade on latest developments plus market trends to identify and service client needs.
· Develop loan packages for credit review as well as underwriting.
· Carry out review of SLA Manuals to ensure applicable regulatory laws are incorporated.
· Any other duties as required by the Divisional Head, Corporate Bank.
Education Requirement
· University Degree – Minimum of Second Class Lower or equivalent.
· 10 years banking experience 5 of which must be in a senior role in Business Development and Relationship Management
· A track record of strong analytical and decision-making skills,
· Proficiency in use of MS Office packages.
