  • Proactively engage with international students and their families in Sri Lanka to promote SIA services and support products
  • Provide them with information and advice on study opportunities and the visa application process
  • Submit applications to institutions, obtain offers and facilitate enrolments within the agreed time frame
  • Follow up with potential students and maximize conversion of students submitting applications and finalizing enrolment through SIA application platforms.
  • Follow standard CRM sales process to record and update all student interactions and applications, follow through on students’ enquiries and applications
  • To provide counselling services to prospective students and parents on studying overseas (Australia, New Zealand, UK, Canada, Ireland), assist them in their education options to institutions that SIA represents, to the point of enrolment.
  • Act as the key liaison personnel for respective university partners assigned, ensuring the team is up to date on any progress or updates pertaining to the institutions.
  • Provide support to the team in outreach activities, roadshows, exhibitions, events and school talks.
  • To ensure targets or KPIs set are achieved or exceeded.
  • Supporting the Student Placement team in any other ad-hoc activities/tasks as and when required

Knowledge, Skills and abilities.

  • Strong knowledge of the destination and local education systems
  • Sales and Marketing skills
  • Ability to multitask under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Visible orientation towards having high-quality service as an integral part of Work ethics.
  • Computer literacy with MS Office 365 packages
  • Good communication skills - written and verbal (English) skills

Technical & Professional Knowledge

  • Competent knowledge of AU & UK education
  • Competent knowledge of the AU & UK culture, lifestyle and geographic region
  • Competent knowledge of university courses and careers outlook
  • Competent knowledge of migration rules & regulations
  • Possess relevant computer skill
  • Take ownership of problems and seek timely solutions Teamwork

Education and experience

  • Bachelor (or above) qualification in the relevant field
  • 2–3 years of counselling experience preferably in the education industry
