Paralegal interested in Blockchain Law

If you’re a paralegal interested in tech law and want a good head start in the cutting edge of blockchain regulation, then this is the place for you!

WACEO is looking for someone who can help our legal team with research and preparing legal documents. You would be working closely with the Head of Legal and supporting him in drafting of necessary documents (contracts, NDAs, policies, etc); and working closely with our Consultant on a blockchain project.

We are looking for someone who has experience working with Belgium lawyers, knows Belgium law and is fluent in French.

In the beginning, we would offer parttime role, which could easily, depending on your engagement, grow into more fulltime role.

Excellent written and spoken command of English is required as most of the legal documents you would be drafting are in English.

Note that Blockchain is a specific niche, blockchain/cryptocurrency legal is area yet to be explored, so you would be seen as a junior in this role (unless you have previous relevant blockchain experience), but we are happy to train you and teach you on the matter. Being a self starter, with a can-do attitude and good time management skills are crucial for this role. We work under a very typical startup environment, so previous startup experience and being able to keep up with the pace are a bonus; but again not a deal breaker if you don't - just bear in mind we are not super structured and don't know everything.

Salary is commensurate to market rates and experience.
