Frixx is seeking a skilled volunteer Blockchain Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about blockchain technology and is proficient in the development of smart contracts, decentralized applications, and blockchain protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy smart contracts and decentralized applications on various blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, and Polygon.
• Collaborate with the team to design and implement blockchain solutions that address real-world problems in Africa and beyond.
• Participate in the ongoing development and maintenance of our existing blockchain-based products.
• Research and implement new blockchain technologies to enhance the functionality and security of our products.
• Write and maintain technical documentation and code comments to ensure the maintainability of our codebase.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in the blockchain industry and share knowledge with the team.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in at least one blockchain platform, such as Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, or Polygon.
• Experience with smart contract development, including Solidity programming and testing frameworks like Hardhat.
• Understanding of blockchain protocols and consensus algorithms, such as Proof of Work and Proof of Stake.
• Knowledge of web3.js, ethers.js, or other blockchain development libraries.
• Familiarity with decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols and concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Passion for blockchain technology and its potential to drive positive change in the world.

This is a volunteer position with a minimum commitment of 6 hours per week. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting blockchain projects with a team of like-minded individuals and gain valuable experience in the industry.
