JOB PURPOSE

The job purpose for the Key Account Manager role is to manage and develop relationships with key clients, achieve set sales targets, and ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of the HORECA industry. You will be responsible for maintaining account data, forecasting sales, managing debtors, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures while upholding company values. Additionally, the Key Account Manager will collaborate with internal teams to create a healthy working environment and support the clearance sales and liquidation of excess stock. The ultimate goal of this role is to drive sales growth and profitability while building and maintaining strong customer relationships.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· Managing assigned accounts in the territory.

· Achieving monthly sales targets through effective sales techniques and strategies.

· Optimizing quality through field visits within a given budget per quarter.

· Managing debtors and ensuring credit appraisals are performed for approval and collection done in 30 days.

· Communicating efficiently and effectively with clients, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.

· Ensuring offered quotations meet the winning criteria with planned gross profit rates.

· Forecasting brand sales for the financial year.

· Supporting clearance sales and liquidation of excess stock.

· Collaborating with all employees to create a healthy working environment.

· Complying with company policies, procedures, values and code of conduct while carrying out the job role.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Passion for sales and great networking ability.

· A Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing or Management from a reputed University.

· Over 3 years of sales and business development experience would be an added advantage.

· Proficient in MS Office packages and smart sheet tools.

· Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.

· Knowledge of social media platforms and other communication methods would be advantageous.
