Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mid-level QA Software Engineer / Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and quality assurance methodologies, with experience in testing software applications, web applications, and mobile applications. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the software throughout the software development life cycle, identifying defects and issues, and collaborating with the development team to resolve them. The candidate should also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test cases and test plans based on software requirements.
• Identify and report defects and issues in a timely and accurate manner.
• Collaborate with the development team to resolve defects and issues.
• Analyse and document test results and communicate findings to the development team.
• Continuously improve testing processes and procedures
• Participate in design and code reviews to ensure software quality.
• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand product requirements and ensure quality standards are met.

Job Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with manual and automated testing techniques
• Experience with testing web applications, mobile applications, and software applications
• Basic understanding of programming languages such as MERN, Django, Go
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask.

Other Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
• Experience with performance testing and load testing
• Experience with security testing and penetration testing
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Cypress, Protractor, or Appium (Optional)
