Responsibilities

• Become familiar with client business processes and business logic underlying the CRM, ERP, data warehouses/lakes or other systems and data architectures
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Communicate insights to non-technical audiences including business executives and other stakeholders
• Curate datasets and analyze them to identify key business insights and prepare summary reports for management, or guide team members in this process
• Collaborate with technical teams and take lead on the creation of automated reports as per established deadlines with clients and on an ad-hoc basis
• Validate data pipelines and ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Optimize performance of reporting solutions through effective usage of SQL, DAX and M query
• Support implementation and maintenance of data pipelines in Databricks to ensure seamless deployment and version control.
• Support the business development process by providing effective estimates for upcoming and ongoing projects

Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years in the field of data analysis and warehousing preferably on Microsoft DW/BI Stack
• Knowledge consistent with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Sciences (Statistics or Mathematics), Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Management, Accounting, Finance, or similar
• Prior experience working on offshore projects will be highly advantageous
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, self-initiative and ability to take lead on deliverables
• Impeccable attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously at different levels, including guiding team members
• Knowledge, in-depth understanding, and hands-on experience in data modeling, dala lake concepts, OLAP database design and development
• Abilities in analysis/documenting existing BI processes including DW structures
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge and demonstrated experience with the following technologies and techniques:
  • Experience in Power BI with advanced skills in DAX, M queries and (optionally) in Google BigQuery and Looker
  • Experience in using performance metrics and monitoring tools
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Databricks / Other DB technologies
  • Data warehousing concepts and best practices
  • Experience in data analysis and visualization using Python is highly advantageous
  • Experience in Azure data lake technology stack would be an added advantage
