What you’ll do
- The Associate Scientist, Cell Culture Services will work within the assigned team for execution of cell culture media and process development projects. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with the cell culture service team to ensure successful customer project outcomes.
- Contribute to study design, perform studies following study plans and protocols, analyze experimental data, present study results internally, and contribute to interim and final project reports
- Participate in and contributes to risk assessment of assigned projects
- Assimilate technical information and practices within own technical domain. Seek out and stays current in functional domain knowledge
- Identify relevant operating constraints (Quality, EHS, regulatory etc.) for product and process design
- Analyze and solve technical problems. Applies scientific rigor through technical documentation
- Respond to customer needs in a timely and accurate manner
- Contribute to scientific publications and/or conference presentations
- Proactively share own experience and best practices with team members
Who you are
- BS in Life Sciences or related discipline with Knowledge in data analysis along with Hadoop Knowledge
- Mastery of core cell culture techniques
- Design of Experiments (DoE) experience and solid skills in statistical design and analysis
- Strong scientific writing skills and ability to communicate in a professional/articulate manner
- Diverse hands-on experience in multiple cell lines and bioreactor systems highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills (writing, articulating, listening, questioning)
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, matrixed, and customer focused environment
