Full Stack Engineer – Data Analytics & Insights

Requirements:

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.
• Over 4 years of solid experience in developing applications using Python and SQL/NoSQL databases such as MySQL, Oracle, and Mongo DB.
• Proven hands-on experience using React JS.
• Knowledge of building data pipelines and warehouses. Knowledge of Snowflake will be an added advantage.
• Ability to develop high-quality code and a passion for learning and utilizing / understanding code written in languages other than Python (e.g., C, Java, Prolog, OCaml, Haskell, Rust, Scala)
• Familiarity with CI/CD builds/deploy pipelines and modern DevOps practices like Git-Ops.
• As necessary, performance-profile and stress test solutions to scale and operationalize for internal or external consumption.
• Ability to guide/mentor junior developers while working with leads and architects on designing applications.
• Proven history with software and system architecture, microservices architecture, and AWS cloud technologies.
• Strong background in architecting and developing high-end/customer-facing online platforms.
• Good working knowledge of caching technologies, front-end technologies, and web architecture.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills including making presentations to varied teams and stakeholders.
• Good understanding of technology methodologies including Agile (SCRUM), continuous integration/ continuous development, and automation.
• Familiarity with JIRA and writing user stories.
