Capital Placement seeks a Global Partnerships Associate to acquire and onboard employers for international internship programs. Ideal candidates have B2B sales experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for international work and travel.

We created Capital Placement 10 years ago as a platform to simplify international internships for university students and recent graduates looking for global work experience. Today, we provide our customers with opportunities to intern in some of the most exciting cities in the world, London, New York, and Singapore.

Global Partnerships Associate

We are looking for candidates to join our existing team to help us acquire and onboard employers for our current international Internship Programs. This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing and world-renowned organisation that is leading the way in the international internship sector.

The aim of this role is to be able to identify interesting internship opportunities across a wide range of industries in our current and upcoming locations. The role will involve identifying, contacting and vetting promising employers in order to onboard them to our programs, as well as, matching and placing our interns in exciting internships.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be global in outlook, you must be passionate about international work and travel
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in a dual-sided marketplace - ideally, with employers and candidates
  • Have excellent communication (personable and professional) and persuasion skills; demonstrate the ability to communicate and build relationships with people across various countries and cultures
  • Demonstrate strong administrative and organisational skills to maintain and deliver a smooth placement process throughout
  • Demonstrate an ability to work under pressure
  • Be willing to travel to our international program locations to meet our employment partners and attend events
  • Have a balance of being a team player and the ability to work independently and autonomously
  • Enjoy challenges and be resourceful, proactive, resilient and entrepreneurial

Responsibilities:

  • Acquire new employers to our internship program in London, Singapore, New York and other upcoming program locations
  • Manage relationships with existing employers in our portfolio and build relationships with new employers
  • Support interns and companies throughout each stage of the internship placement process
  • Assist employers and interns with their enquiries
  • Develop the necessary communication materials or processes to ensure both the interns’ and employers’ expectations are well-managed throughout the placement process
  • Support other team members when necessary

Application Criteria

  • Eligibility: Ensure you meet the requirements specified in the job description.
  • Round 1: A 30-minute HR phone screening to evaluate your background and fit for the role.
  • Round 2: A 45-90 minute technical interview with two team members to assess your expertise and experience related to the Global Partnership Associate role.
  • Task Assessment: Complete a task relevant to the Global Partnership Associate role, demonstrating your skills and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Cultural Fit Interview: A 45-90 minute discussion focused on cultural fit, value alignment, and team compatibility.
  • Final Round: An in-depth conversation with the Founders, centring on your vision, strategic thinking, and overall suitability for the Global Partnership Associate position.
