Job Description:

JOB RESPONSBILITIES:

• The System Administrator will be responsible for applying several policies to resources and subscriptions

• Responsible to stop actions that the company wants to prevent

• The role involves deploying and managing virtual machines in the cloud environment

• Implement and manages storage, Tests on setting up file shares

• Must know how to utilize recovery services to implement data backups

• The job involves ensuring data backups for restoration

• Must have expertise in managing public and private IP addresses concerning virtual machines and Azure resources

• Working directly with the management team and solutions architects to ensure the continued evolutions of infrastructure and network services to meet business needs

• Take lead over all daily monitoring and administration of cloud environments

• Help establish and manage best practices guidelines around system management, maintenance and change processes and procedures

• Ensure Microsoft Azure and Office 365 environments are operated and managed in line with best practices

• Provide elevated 3rd level support for the regional support teams and desk side engineers

• Manage and maintain production, backup, and redundancy services for the region

• Participate in the assessment of external and internal technology capabilities with a focus on suitability for integration with the existing IT solutions

• Create, disseminate and (as required) update documentation of the IT technical estate with topology maps and diagrams that align to the current environment

• Monitor and review the environment looking for ways to improve efficiencies, cost improvements and streamlining of services

Key Skills:

1. 7 or more years in IT and business / industry

2. Proven Experience with Windows System Administration and Server Administration (Mandatory)

3. Experience with Hyper V, VM Ware and Backup tools (mandatory)

4. Preferably experience in effectively managing cross-functional teams and advising key stakeholders

5. Demonstrated experience in establishing standard processes and managing performance to achieve key metrics

6. Preferably proven experience or demonstrated capability in leading IT Infrastructure Services in changing and dynamic environments

7. Success in leveraging both traditional practices, such as IT service management, as well as emerging methods, such as DevOps, that are optimized for agility

8. Strong vendor management and partner relation

Required Qualification:

Bachelor of Computer Science (B.Sc. Computer Science)
