Job Summary: Mangrove Executive Lounge and Bar seeks passionate and skilled Cooks to join our dynamic team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking various dishes to the highest standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to food safety regulations. Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and cook menu items under recipes and quality standards.
2. Ensure all food products are fresh and of high quality, and adhere to proper food handling and sanitation guidelines.
3. Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and execute daily menu offerings.
4. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
5. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including proper storage and labelling of food items.
6. Follow proper cooking techniques and presentation standards for all dishes.
7. Assist in training new kitchen staff and provide support as needed.
8. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
9. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
10. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or similar setting.
2. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary principles.
3. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
5. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
6. Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
7. Certification from a culinary school or relevant training is a plus.
8. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects as needed.
9. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
