Group Head of HR (Shoewear Manufacturing)

Job Overview:The Head of Human Resources will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions within our client, a footwear manufacturing company. This role will lead the HR team in developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs to support the company's goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Oversee recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes to ensure the company attracts and retains top talent
- Manage employee relations, including resolving conflicts, conducting investigations, and ensuring fair and consistent application of policies
- Develop and administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs
- Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and career development planning
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations
- Manage HR budgets and resources effectively
- Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in footwear or apparel industry
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into HR initiatives
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification is a plus
