The Small Business Project (TSBP) is seeking a talented and creative freelance content writer and creator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair care and beauty, along with a strong understanding of social media platforms and trends, and the ability to give a unique voice/spin to their content. As part of our team, you will research the brand (Secret) and its products within the hair care niche and create engaging and informative social media briefs on a monthly basis.

Responsibilities:

• Research the brand and products to understand its unique selling points, target audience, and market trends.
• Create creative and informative social media briefs tailored to the brand voice and audience preferences.
• Develop monthly content calendars, including 12/15 stories, 3/5 reels, and 10 posts, aligned with the brand objectives and marketing goals.
• Stay updated on industry trends and be able to adapt them to the voice/guidelines of the brand.
• Plus points for the ability to create video content for the brand, including reels.

Content Writer Requirements:

• Proven experience as a content writer, preferably in the beauty or hair care industry.
• Strong writing and communication skills with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
• Ability to research and understand brand and product positioning within the hair care niche.
• Experience with video content creation and editing is a plus.

Passion for beauty, hair care, and sustainability is a plus.

Ideal creator’s profile/requirements/specifications

• Ability to create engaging content with under 10k followers.
• Understanding of lighting, framing and basic editing skills.
• Languages: English (must); Optional:Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada.
• Preferred age group for creators (20–27 years).
• Must have good quality hair.
• Must not make videos or any content for similar brands – for eg. hair care, organic hair care, hair dye brands, skin care brands etc.
• Overall look should be traditional (ethnic/Indian looking). Must have modest Indian wear or simple, everyday Western wear in brand’s videos.
• Must not wear heavy make-up in brand’s videos. If using makeup, light and natural makeup looks.
• Must not have artificially straightened/permed or chemically coloured hair. Natural, healthy hair texture only.
