Our prestigious client in the UK, who are into Technology Products and Services, is looking for Senior BI Developers to join their rapidly expanding Business Intelligence Systems team working with a great mix of experience in the industry.

Roles & Responsibilities:

As a developer you will be working in a product team developing new products, enhancing existing product features and supporting those products through their full lifecycle.

We are also looking for a diverse skill set. While our legacy platform is SQL which will play a huge part in our product base for years to come we are also rapidly expanding our modern data platform so we are seeking developers who have experience in tools such as DataBricks (Spark), Data Factory, Data Lake, PowerBI and Synapse.

Skills & Technologies:

• Languages: SQL
• Data Platform: SQL Server RDBMS or Data Lake
• ETL: SQL Server Integration Services or Data Bricks or Synapse or Azure Data Factory

Desirable:

• Languages: Python, PySQL, C#, R
• Data Platform: SQL 2012 up to Azure SQL MI / DB
• Reporting: PowerBI or similar e.g. Tableau, SQL Server Reporting Services
• Modelling: SQL Server SSAS Multidimensional (MDX) / Tabular (DAX) / Dimensional Modelling / Data Warehousing
• Development Management: TFS / Azure DevOps / GIT Hub
• Azure - Data Lake, Data Factory, Data Bricks (Spark), SQL MI / DB
• ETL: Active Batch, API, Event Hub, Kafka
• AI / ML
