Our client is a prominent independent macroeconomic consulting firm based in Southeast Asia. They are currently seeking an Economist to join their team.

The selected candidate will be responsible for analyzing market trends to provide strategic economic guidance to the organization's leadership. Additionally, they will play a key role in developing models to support forecasting efforts. Working closely with a small team of financial analysts, the Economist will collaborate to gain insights into market trends, enabling the organization to make well-informed decisions aligned with their objectives.

Job Description

• Assist in monitoring and analyzing financial market dynamics and stability concerns in Indonesia and other key ASEAN nations as required.
• Evaluate market patterns to construct economic forecasts and models.
• Provide guidance to businesses and government entities on economic decision-making.
• Offer consultation to clients regarding the effectiveness of political policies, products, or services.
• Investigate the economic ramifications of legislative measures and regulations.
• Formulate statistical and econometric models for economic prediction purposes.
• Present data through presentations, technical reports, and accessible non-technical reports.

Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience as an Economist or in a comparable capacity
• Strong analytical, logical, and adept problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional organizational proficiency
• Superlative written and oral communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal acumen
• Relevant degree, certifications, or training in Economics
